GDT: GAME 75: Habs vs Dirty Bruins, April 3rd @7 PM | SN, RDS, NESN

Except this remains the Habs’ most grueling rival that will stop at nothing to win, regardless of what their record says or where they are in the standings. That “bad team” will not necessarily play bad — I expect the Bruins to raise their game — Habs will need to be ready from the get-go.
Without The Rat, I wonder if the Bruins roster is going to feel the same rivalry with the Habs. 🧐

Jet lag is no joke, especially a 6 hour time zone difference
When I was a young man it took me about a week to recover. Although coming back from Europe was easier than going to Europe. Coming back usually meant that you could stay up real late no problem. But, I never tried competitive sports right off the plane. Kap seems like a longshot. Habs are doing well right now, so it would be best to let him have some practices on the small ice or a few games in Laval, where mistakes won’t be so costly.

I used to be so afraid that Shawn Thornton guy would kill one of the boys and just like eat him right there on the ice while we watched in horror before the linesmen realized and jumped in.

There is always someone who will step up. Maybe now they’ll resort to collective rat-like behavior in order to compensate. :sarcasm:

Considering how a rat infestation only requires 6-8 rats, seems achievable.

We've sucked against Boston (terribly) in recent years this is in no way shape or form a trap game.
If they suck the trap will be the next time we play them. :sarcasm:

I'm not too concerned about it being a trap game.

The captain will have the team focused and ready to go.

Let's see if Hutson can keep his 3 PPG streak going.

Philly is probably the game they lose.

On a different boat.

I thought Ozempic couldn't do advertisements anymore ?

How are they able to be an ad on the boards in ot ?

Games against Boston are never easy but I think we are getting a freebie here. Bruins are currently sitting last in the east with a 1-8-1 record and they are in the middle of a 6 games losing streak.

We need to capitalize on this opportunity and create some separation with the other teams and get a bit closer to Ottawa.

Hopefully Kapanen can give a nice boost to the team.

There's no point analyzing a bruins/habs game.

Sure, the bruins have had their way over the last few years but by enlarge, these are games where anything and everything does happen

The only difference this time is that the habs would be a favourite against Boston for the first time in a few years, but other than that... throw all analyses out the window and see what happens.
