How about this :

Impressed ( exceeded expectations ) :

Neutral ( met expectations ) :

Unimpressed ( didnt meet ) :

Impressed ( exceeded expectations ) :

Bourque
Galchenyuk
Gallagher
Halpern
Subban

Neutral ( met expectations ) :

Plekanec
Price
Prust
Markov (Hard one here didn't expect him to be the go to guy anymore for a while)

Unimpressed ( didnt meet ) :

Ryder
Desharnais
Pacioretty
Gorges
Bouillon
Diaz
Moen

Outside of Bourque, Galchenyuk, Subban and Gallagher, I haven't been impressed with anyone.

Desharnais, Markov, Pacioretty, Bouillon and Ryder have been especially terrible.

And Moen. I'm sorry, but that guy doesn't deserve to wear the CH.

Impressed:
Bourque
Gally
Chucky
Tinordi

Subban also has been great, but I expect that from him.

Neutral:
Gorges
Halpern
Armstrong
Blunden
Dumont
Prust
White
Diaz

Not good:
Bouillon
Ryder
Moen
Price

Very disappointed:
Markov

Utterly disgraceful:
Pacioretty
Desharnais

Should've just stuck Moen or Blunden with the last two for 5 minutes TOI, and put Gally with some people who want to play.

Impressed with Tinordi ? He is just lost out there and plays like he is a foot shorter than Bouillon. This guy wont stick in the league, agree with McKeens scouting who has his upside as &th d-man, if he improves. Bergevin got a bit caught with lack of depth but overall he has been a great GM so far.

How about we don't talk about this until the playoffs are over? k thanks.

Impressed (exceeded expectations):
Bourque
Galchenyuk
Gallagher
Halpern
Subban
White
Armstrong

Neutral (met expectations) :
Plekanec
Price
Prust
Markov (I knew he wouldn't be very useful in this series)
Boullion (He's very bad but that's just him)
Tinordi (Not ready)
Moen

Unimpressed (didn't meet) :
Ryder
Desharnais
Pacioretty
Gorges
Diaz

Gionta has been bad but he was playing with a torn biceps. Ryder and Pacioretty better be injured too to justify their disgraceful play.

Ryder
Desharnais
Pacioretty
Gorges
Bouillon
Diaz
Moen

Prust just as advertised , grit , soild
Markov (Hard one here didn't expect him to be the go to guy anymore for a while)

Unimpressed ( didnt meet ) :

Desharnais GONZO OUR WORST PLAYER BAR NONE
Pacioretty stunk it up but a keeper , no one else to replace him with

Impressed ( exceeded expectations ) :
Halpern
Bourque
Subban
Gallagher
Galchenyuk
White
Armstrong

Neutral ( met expectations ) :
Price
Plekanec
Pacioretty(would have put him below but he was injured)
Gionta(same as patches)
Moen
Dumont
Blunden
Eller(who knows what might have been)
Tinordi(would rather give him top pairing minutes in AHL than #6-7 minutes at NHL next year)
Markov

Unimpressed ( didnt meet ) :
Ryder
Desharnais
Prust(As good as he was regular season he took a TON of boneheaded penalties)
Gorges
Diaz
Bouillon
Budaj

Desharnais, Markov, Pacioretty, Bouillon and Ryder have been especially terrible.

And Moen. I'm sorry, but that guy doesn't deserve to wear the CH.

Why not ? Guy was physical when needed to be. Battled hard. He wasn't great, but I'd say Ryder (even with a goal), Diaz and Desharnais have been far more useless.

Impressed:
Bourque
Gally
Chucky
Tinordi
Subban
White

Neutral:
Halpern
Armstrong
Blunden
Dumont
Prust
Diaz

Not good:
Gorges
Bouillon
Ryder
Price
Markov
Plekanek

Wush wush wush
Desharnais

Impressed (exceeded expectations):
Bourque (Didn't know what to expect. Was pleasantly surprised. Let's hope that was just a sign of what's to come next year in his case)
Armstrong (expectations were very low, but played solid minutes)
Galchenyuk (I thought he might be overwhelmed. He wasn't. Shame on MT for not trusting him more over some struggling vets.
Subban (This guy is a gamer. Walks the MFing walk. Love the guts and the leadership)

Neutral (met expectations) :
Gallagher (Not a knock on him. I've just become so accustomed to his in your face blue colar play that I expect nothing less than greatness from this little turbocharged motor. Simply delivered)
Plekanec (I no longer expect Plekanec to be a scoring dynamo in the playoffs. Just solid all around with the occasional head scratching blunder)
Markov (Even in his prime, Markov never had a playoff gear)
Diaz (Got back from a long term injury just before the playoffs, what did people expect?)
Moen (was expecting what we got. Raised his level by about 4% and was generally a non factor)
Halpern (Still had gas left, not enough to think about a re-sign though)
White (His crazy side is much more helpful in a playoff environment)
Prust (Warrior. Would have loved to see what he could do without the bum shoulder)
Boullion (Boo's what he is. A mediocre #6. Not his fault when his importance and role are artificially increased by a lack of alternatives)

Unimpressed (didn't meet) :
Ryder (Even if I wasn't expecting a lot of hustle, I didn't think he would actually let the team down once the new contract boosting regular season stats were in the bank. This guy's a mercenary)
Price (underwhelmed by his demeanor in this series. Was playing and reacting like a goalie with an inferiority complex, always looking behind. The talent is there, but the questions about his mental game are starting to take the forefront, I don't like it - and I'm no hater)
Desharnais (Did one long term contract signature completely kill his game? Where's the urgency?)
Gionta (Thought the playoffs were where he'd make us forget a very lukewarm season. Just the end of his rope I fear)
Pacioretty (Needs to stop with the more complete player BS to explain his new artsy farty approach to the game. Crash the net for *******' sake!)
Gorges (This guy has to be playing hurt. Not the shadow of his former self)
Tinordi (I knew he needed to add some weight. Just didn't realize how much. Hit the gym Jarred! Now!)

You guys really impressed with Tinordi? I know he's young and it's alright and no worries but he sucked lol...BADDD gap control, terrible first pass, lost his guys many times (like the Zibanejad soccer goal) and not that physical. This guy really needs some AHL playoffs next year. Of course, paired with Bouillon only agravated the whole thing.

I agree with you 1000%. People on this board lambasted me for thinking the same. If I were montreal I would try to package him in a trade for a strong big nasty defence man

Tinordi is slower than Hal gill

If this guy is depended on in the future we are in trouble. And for you people who think he's the second coming of chelios all I have to say is , did you watch him play today??? He was awful.

People on this board put tinordi in the impressed catagory, they are blinded by his 6.7 inche skinny ass frame. Guy is SLOW SLOW SLOW got beat badly tonight.

Lolllll

Lost all credibility there dude.

Even his detractors agree that Tinordi skates well. :shakehead

he skates well for a big guy but his gap control was awwwwful. So either he lacks confidence, or his skating is just not NHL playoffs ready yet. Either way, he backed off way too much and gave the blue line easily.
