Disgusting.
The last couple of seasons I've noticed just how many more kids and families are able to attend games because of gifted tickets. I talked about how refreshing it was to see a family of four being able to do that. I guess someone else took note. :skeptic:

Geoff probably reads this board. People will know who to blame now when these ideas start to happen.

Love how they specify thay its a "brief" visit from Youppi, so you dont get your hopes up.

Comes with a happy bday cardboard and $75 worth of... Youppi merch? I dont remember ever wanting Youppi merch even as a kod... no offense to Youppi

I get it... pay to be 100% sure to see Youppi, but thats so extremely expensive - again no offense to the furball, but is the mascot that important?

Meet and greets events with players are gonna cost in the $1000s at that rate.

Id love to see that play out. What happens if you cant pay for your urinal? Pee on the floor? ;)

"THIS OFFER INCLUDES

A brief yet special visit from Youppi! to your seat at a Canadiens game, personalized for one (1) fan, plus one (1) bag of Youppi! themed goodies valued at over $75. Youppi! will arrive armed with confetti and a personalized sign for your occasion, so look forward to a whirlwind experience - and photo opportunity - to remember."

Absolute garbage. I knew Youppi back when he was shooting up and getting thrown out of ballgames. He'd shine your shoes for 5$. This impersonator isn't worth jack.

They have now added “All profits benefit the Montreal Canadiens Children's Foundation.” to the website following the backlash.

It said nothing about this yesterday.

I swear this is the most money hungry franchise in the NHL. They will slap the logo on f***ing everything and find any way possible to monetize this brand. I feel like we have to be the only team in the NHL that actually built team-branded condo towers around the arena. I thought that was as low as it could get but I guess not.
