Now that the season is officialy over, post your favourite goals. For some reason, I can't recall that many beauties scored by our Habs this year. Eller's goal against Toronto is probably the freshest in my memory, but it seems most of our goals were PK one-timers, garbage goals or rebounds in-close.

Post your candidates for Habs goal of the year!

It has to be this one :

Such a nice play from Galchenyuk

Loved this one!

And of course his and Gally's first NHL goals.

Edit: ugh how do you post a video so it works?

put in everything after the = in the youtube URL.

Galchenyuk already dominating this category. Heh.

Funny thing is he hasn't scored a true highlight reel goal yet. We're extremely lucky to have him. I expect him to dominate threads like these for many years to come.

The goal goallagher posted has to be up there too, such slick hands.

Seeing this goal reminded me that we didn't see many great goals this year... Goes to show that our talent level on offense is lower than it should be. Hoppefully Lars and Alex fix that!

Everything here involves Chuckie or Eller in some way. I like that. They really are great finesse players.

This one was pretty sweet for a player we don't often see on the score board. Nice pass by Prust that fed him for the goal.

Or maybe number 20000?

Eller goal in the blow-out vs. Buffalo.

Galchenyuk moves in with sweet dekes, puck gets to Eller who undressed Miller.

the abundance of eller-galchenyuk-gallagher in this thread is really bringing it home how much of a 'changing of the guard' season this was in many ways.

therrien and bergevin have to be given so much credit for how they handled the young guys, it's amazing to see.

My favourite play of the year didn't result in a goal... it was PK Subban deking out the entire team, putting a sick move to go in alone. Unfortunately he didn't score. But he was right back in the play immediately.

If he had scored on that one it would'[ve been the NHL play of the year. As it is, it was still sick and Don Cherry made reference to it a couple of days after it happened as PK got right back into the play - something Bobby Orr did all the time.

You mean the whole ''lets die with our crappy veteran instead of playing the younger and better players'' ?
