Were you born when the Habs last won in San Jose on Nov 23, 1999?

Neimi is a really nice guy, and he did help make it easier for Kotka to fit in with the Habs. It's time for him to go now, that was too painful to watch.

He looks done but you know how that goes -- he has that veteran aura, brings "experience" toward the playoffs. He has extra lives yet.

Since we didn't know what Sharks team would show up tonight, I'm glad we rested Price. Just think, what if San Jose brought their "A" game tonight, and we lost despite having Price in net? We would then need to put Niemi in goal against Anaheim, and the end result would be 0 points in these two games.

It is not realistic to play Price 24/7/365. At least now, he is well-rested and will be ready to help us get 2 points in Anaheim.

It was the right move under the circumstances... (not having a better backup option.)

We miss kotka ... Thompson out please

If KK's "fatigue" is over and done with, can we please have him back in the lineup tomorrow?

That's if you are really interested in winning a playoff spot, Claude.

I'm okay with us playing Niemi tonight. Back to back and I wouldn't want him playing against Anaheim and losing so this was the right call.

What I don't get is benching Kotkaniemi. Wtf was up with that?

I truly can barely wait for Poehling to join the Habs. With Domi, Danault, Kotkaneimi & Poehling, the Habs will have NHL quality centers. Having Weal(RHC), Suzuki(RHC) as quality depth will have the Habs on equal standing with most NHL teams. A prerequisite to becoming a Stanley Cup Champion IMHO!!!...:wave::wave:

Easy win tomorrow. Just have to score 2 goals and it's done.

There are no easy ones but I like our chances.

Now, which forward(s) will be taken out of the lineup, given that we're coming off a loss?
