ROY DU NORD!!!
Also, just waive Pezzetta. It's obvious, like Primeau, his time here is done.
If another team picks him up, who cares.
Call up someone for Laval if Laine can't go Monday.
I want to see my boy Golgota.

Agreed. If he can't even be trusted in a 4th line role when someone is injured, there's no reason he should take up a roster spot. He's probably a great guy who doesn't complain, but when someone like Laine is out you need someone who could theoretically contribute something. Also, just waive Pezzetta. Huge stop!! Then schools Drouin, and Rantanen!!!!Dobes stopping Lehks on the breakaway after he got out of the box for running him 2 minutes earlier was so f***ing gangster.
I would start using Evans on PP1 down low he handles the puck far better than Slaf at this point.Ngl, Dobes looked a bit like Price in the shootout, especially that first save on Drouin where he just threw the puck back on the ice. He looks good man.
The guys dug deep, and the best players came through, that's good to see.
Slaf deserved to get benched, the first line looked much better with 7th rounder Jake Evans on it. Slaf needs to wake up, the team needs him the same way they needed Dach to wake up.
Also, I understand MSL rolled 3 lines, but why is it Heineman that ends up getting screwed?? He easily could've played in Gally or Newhook's spot.
When Laine comes back, I say they put him with Suzuki. Dach has finally woken up and shown he can drive his line.
In. The. Mix baby! GHG!!!
Dobes is amazing so far . What a start in the NHL. He looks intimidating in the net.
Gutsy performance by the guys. After 10 minutes I thought it was going to end in a blowout but the guys turned it around. Blackwood was also very good tonight.
The only negative thing was the freaking 4 on 3.
I don't know why we are more often than not awful in these situations.
Low scoring game but still entertaining.
Hated the reffing though.
Wins against Panthers, Lighting, Golden Knights and Avs on the same trip is unreal.
Too bad we lost the only 2 games we were expected to win.
The Canadiens probably watched to much of Avengers during Christmas and decided to go after all the most recent Stanley Cup Champions like they're Infinity Stones..Panthers, Lightning, Golden Knights, Avalanche...no problem
1st star for me is Guhle. The better the opponent, the best he is at shutting them down. He covered Mackinnon like if he was his actual shadow.
Good win, I think announcers are putting too much weight on carrier. He is not that good.
Bizarro world
Lose to Chicago and Columbus, win against Florida, Tampa, Vegas and Colorado
We give Monty all the trap games...If you had 10k on next game and you had to chose Dobes or Montembeault to start in net, who is your pick?
Yeah. We take games against weaker teams for grantedHallmark of a legit contender
It should be Dobes..................but we know it wont..........MSL doesn't have the stones. If you had 10k on next game and you had to chose Dobes or Montembeault to start in net, who is your pick?
Betting 10k$ on an NHL game is insanity. Might as well go all in on RED in Roulette! If you had 10k on next game and you had to chose Dobes or Montembeault to start in net, who is your pick?
Carrier is not good. Those recent aquisition are starting to become insane. Laine, Carrier, Dobes.
Sometime I think it's a question of confidence. The players felt like they would get the help of a Laine this season and he got injured and they got deflated. Then he came back and dominated on the PP and it gave everybody wings.
Dobes 100%If you had 10k on next game and you had to chose Dobes or Montembeault to start in net, who is your pick?
Sadly we don't play St. Louis any time soon, though Washington is coming up in a week so that's another recent-ish winner. The Canadiens probably watched to much of Avengers during Christmas and decided to go after all the most recent Stanley Cup Champions like they're Infinity Stones..
