Andre Tourigny, Arizona's coach, has been named head coach. D.J. Smith will assist.

It would be great if Suzuki went.

Why Luke Tuch ? Nice to see but I can't help but think he's their best option, lol.

Is Sean Farrel gonna get the call again ?

Apparently, Alex said he would go, but only if they invited his brother. They've never played together. Alex is 6 years older. He said that this might be his last chance to play with his brother (expectation is Buffalo is going to be a playoff team going forward, so Alex won't be available).

He made the comments in his post-season interview in Buffalo.

Does that sound like Alex doesnt believe in Lukes chance to play in the NHL? Pretty harsh, even if true.

No, I actually took it mean that he thinks his brother will have a career in Montreal organization, and therefore no chance to wind up in Buffalo.

Maybe he wants to be a teammate of Luke before being his opponent. Same division.

I still think there's a chance Montreal signs him this summer, but we'll see how he does at WCs.

Good big brother Alex. Got a bump in the respect element in my books.

Well, so far for Team Canada:

G: Montembeault, Levi

D: Weegar,

F: Crouse, McBain, Quinn,

So .... we have our goaltending tandem. A lot of the young Buffalo players said, no (Powers, Dahlin, Cozens).

Matheson sounded interested, so hopefully, he gets an invite.

Good older brother helping Montreal prospect out development wise.

Armia would 100% be a star in the Liiga, his strengths are perfect for a league that does not condone creative play.
He should stay there for good and free up the Habs of his horrendous contract.

Has Slaf confirmed he woudlnt play for Slovakia or no word on it yet
He won't. He judged himself that he was not physically ready for such a competition and it would be unfair for the other team's players who are all in game shape and ready to compete.
