I hate to say this........but we just don't have the goaltending. Cliche perhaps but it is fact.
Goaltending is only part of it. Something is seriously wrong with this team.
Merkley looked completely disinterested last night after being healthy scratched. You have to think his attitude of entitlement creates a sense of haves and have nots on the team. No one feels the need for accountability if the most skilled player can avoid it.

Nice offensive explosion in the first two periods against Owen Sound for a 7-3 lead. Tony Saxon is right on his twitter. This team does deserve a break.
Chico Maki you were kinda right with your prediction. Guelph scored 1 goal for every game they lost. Glad to see them play more than just 10 minutes of good hockey. They played hard, didn't let off the brakes and got a well deserved win.
Credit to the Storm today! Especially Ralph, Kirwin, Stevenson and good bounce back game from Pop after getting the Hook against Flint. Terrible goaltending today from the Attack. Night and day from the past couple of years from McNiven.

No argument there. Olie is a BUG getting starters minutes. He gives up goals in bunches.
4 on 12 shots was a gift, when you figure at least 3 were clear visible shots and stoppable.
Guzda didn't fare much better, altho at least two were the result of his team mates standing by and watching .
The whole team was flat today. Full marks to the Storm for embarrassing the Attack on national television.

Great effort today by our boys.... they just ran out of gas.
But this show them that they can play with Kitchener. If we meet them in the first round it is going to be fun hockey to watch.

next year is a rebuild year IMO on defence.... minus the enigma.... number 6 ...I hope... a defenceman ....he ain't..
....what is he a opening starter for ... he has ST*UNK lately... this mgmt coaching group..(as when Fabri and Bertuzzi weren't traded ... are brain dead.
