Growing Flows

it takes time to flourish. personally, i find it hard to grow during the summer months as it get hot as balls around here. nuture the flow and the flow will nuture you

Let it grow obviously. Cut down the washing of your hair with shampoo to only a day or two a week and add a conditioner on top, just rinse the rest of the days.

just give it time

i personally never used conditioner when i grew mine out, just shampoo at least once a day

oh and take those ear guards out of your helmet so your hair has some room to flow!

Just get past the awkward looking middle stage. I always put a hat on after a shower, easy way to make it 'flow'

My hair naturally looks good with longer hair, but since my hair is curly, I will have curls on the back of my head and will have wings on the side...

It looks like lacrosse flow to be honest

Is this still considered good hockey flow or no?

the trick to getting perfect flow is to get a hat, your only hat you will wear. put that thing on as soon as you get out the shower, make it habit. as the sides start to grow you get your wings to curl up the side. once your wings get too long to curl, take off the lid. BOOM flow, like mushroom under a rock.

Bump. Any tips on the in between stages? Can't wear a hat in school and definitely don't want to sport a Bieber.

blow dry it all back and then oil it up so its slicked back and behind your ears. Or go to a stylist and get your flow 'styled' so it doesnt look so brutal.

Ah yes, the ever fun "John Lennon impersonator" look.

I find that until it gets really going, I slick it back under a hat.

Slick it back Zetterberg style

I tried it once or twice. My hair is really straight though. The top lays back waaayyyy before the sides do. I tried gelling the sides but they're stubborn, I'm talking like two inches long and shooting straight out from the sides of my head. The wife forced me to get it cut before I ever found out if it would eventually fall on its own or not.:D

Wear a forward hat all the time, don't wash your hair often, most importantly, wear the bucket as much as possible. Be patient
