Hehe, Russian announcer made a laugh out of him, said Kovar plays with Mozyakin and Zaripov and should be used to such passes.

Probably jinxing, but I am not impressed by Canada team this year. Weak goalies and defense is not looking great either. Offense is scary, but also a step down from previous years.
Czechs look obviously worse on paper, but I like our chances, think we will get at least a point today.

That Kovar miss says it all about our scoring finish. That's an impossible shot to miss and he still managed to do it.

Noone should be surprised with Pickard, hes good goalie.who didnt get real chance in the NHL, and also playing for Colorado...

Hard to say how this will play out. Canada isn't playing great defense. Though Pickard is playing well and is covering for that. Though even he was downright lucky with that weird miss.

Hopefully the offense can pick it up and keep adding goals.
