Well nothing is working for team Finland so im not happy at all.. They tend to over think everything and seem to absent from the front of the goal in both ends. It's just horrible to look at right now..

Also because they over think everything they don't seem to have knowledge of where players are when they try these no-look passes, i don't think i've seen on no-look pass that actually went to our own player at this match.

Instead they always call clean hits against Finland. Only finnish refs should be allowed to iihf, and maybe russian (unless NHL refs attend).

Olympics is actually the reason I wanted marjamäki sacked on EHT already. I played football with(against) Saku Koivu in juniors and I`ve been told from some of our mutual friends that Late is the reason the NHL:ers wont play for the team. Late is coaching the team as a junior-team. Theese "skate, skate" shouts and slow-play from own zone kills their skill. When playing is not fun and the tactic is a 80`s team Sweden - this is what you get. This "I take worse players from teams I coached before players entitled too" doesnt really help either. You should always take the best players available, not the ones you have coached...

Instead of calling slashes
they always call clean hits against Finland. Only finnish and russian refs should be allowed to iihf(unless NHL refs attend). They're only somehow good refs in europe. At least they know what is clean hit. And call dirtiest slashes and hooks. I

Well, 1-0 for Canada was all on Honka. We had a solid 3-2, but Honka once again puckhogged and shot himself as the 4th attacking instead of passing and Canada countered and scored. Honka is good, but hopefully he learns to pass the puck earlier sometimes. Now he is often a liability when he plays JMA-hockey....

I think most people would rather have Jukka Jalonen as the national team coach than Kari Jalonen. But yeah, for sure many would probably have definitely rather Kari Jalonen than Marjamäki. But heck, I would rather have almost anyone else as our national team coach, as long as the coach wouldn't be Hannu Jortikka or Jukka Rautakorpi.

Mikkola is really promising dman but his time to play in men's world championships is coming near future as soon as next year.

You're of course right. If this is really Marjamäkis philosophy Finland
needs to change the coach immediately. But for the Finnish ice hockey association, it should be a clear alert if the best NHL refuse to play under Marjamäki.
The result don't speak for Marjamäki too so far. I cheer for Finland because I like your country and I was born there. I suffer a little bit if I see them playing like that though it's only a game and there are more important things.

Mikkolas is really promising dman but his time to play is coming near future as soon as next year.

Watched them whole season, and every single playoff game.. fe. D Lajunen and Jaakola are garbage (case mikkola), and these goalies..idk whats up with korpi but säteri isnt as good as kilpi. He had good game against swiss but bad game before it. Also swiss ambhul missed two open netters.

I mean i dont even know if its arguable do we have goalie problem. We do, in addition to all other problems. When kilpeläinen is on fire, he is like another Vehanen..

Mikkola has a bomb even under blue line pressure, and misses net only some times, not half the time. He has D and size. Outskates jaakola and laju easily and has hands. I actually predict nhl for him.

I know Mikkola is talented defenceman i saw Niko playing in 2016 home world juniors in Helsinki he really impressed me.
But when C team is C team it really is C team and adding two Kalpa players not fix those problems what Finland has.
Yeah it sucks to see old farts like Kukkonen,Pyörälä,Jaakola,Ohtamaa, J-M Aaltonen, Hietanen,Pihlström and others playing all the time.

Finland's men's national team is under rebuild right at the moment.
And every Finn knows that when Finland's men's national teams rebuild is over each of those old farts who plays now will be gone after that.

I don't know does Marjamaki deserve to be fired after this tournament but if Finnish hockey association decides to do that move then OK.
But who will replace him there's no potential national team coaches available right now.

Jussi Ahokas would be really good coach to men's national team but after that when his contract to Finland's U20 team is expired.

Ya, maybe kalpa guys wouldnt have turned whole course, but i think mistake to not take those two and have mentioned guys in.

Otherwise agree but Kukkonen is actually good. Still. I was like wtf on him first, too. But i have seen great and prertty mistakeless D fron him. Its actually an asset.

Oh and hietanen. He should be puck moving D, does nothing. He also chokes any PP, every year. Cannot give pass for onetimer 5on3' Choked even laine last year. Laine didint get to one time even 5on3, hietanen always gave puck too late and not in sweet spot. Horrible passes. Not as Carbage as some, but carbage.

Pulju needs mental coach. Flygel on his back, cant even hit the puck on PP. When he does what he can do, what do we hear? KLINGG and out. He is not bad, clearly mental side problem that he is going thru.
