Nice moves by Duchene.
Hopefully Canada pots in a few more. I want Marjamäki gone after this WHC.

I do hope Pulju to still start developing and not turning out as a bust. But seriously I see everywhere alarming signs about huge possibility for him to really bust after all. His year has been a catastrophe with his development. In my opinion he hasn't developed in any way. I rather see that he has regressed in some things. His puck control looks even worse than last season and he had already then too much problems with it. His passing has been absolutely abysmal, and for sure looks clearly worse than last season. His skating is also definitely not as strong as it was before his knee problems last season. And he for sure gets nowadays completely tired and stiff only after short shifts on the ice.
He definitely hasn't deserved more a spot in the playing roster than the other worst players in the team. But on the other hand I can't see him really any worse than Kemppainen, Pihlström, Pyörälä or either Aaltonen's. So I would say that after all it would have been maybe better to let Pulju play in this meaningless game against Canada. But what can you do? We have a complete moron as a coach, so what you see is what you get...
I would have gladly taken Kapanen and some other youngsters. Speed is the essence here. Honka has been probably the best player.
I know this probably won't happen, especially mid tournament by the current management. But I think it would've been time to give Aho a try for the #1 center role, I'm sure he could do it. He's just so shifty and creative there. Filp is responsible but very average at creating any scoring opportunities, I think he's slowing things down of what could be. A kid line of our own would probably make more things happen. Flip would also create depth as the #2 center role and he'd look better there in comparison to other teams.
Perhaps Pools could find some chemistry and confidence gain with A-ho in the middle as well or maybe it's wishfull thinking.

The typical Finnish problem, we just can't get the shots towards the goal. Do they never practice shooting??

I agree with all here. Hintz should have also been on the team. And Vittasmäki for sure. Mikkola and Kilpeläinen could have also been useful.
I actually have wanted the same all tournament. Id also like to see something around this if that would happen:
Rantanen-Aho-Puljujärvi
Savinainen-Filppula-Osala(or M.Aaltonen)
Puljujärvi is in only because of the old "Aho-connection". Savinainen play PP with Fil and they have connected nicely. I have no clue why Savinainen is playing with Sallinen-Pihlström when they only bring him down.
