The "weaker" teams which don't have as much depth seem like they are skating in the mud towards the end of the round robin stage... Saw it with France and now with Norway (and to a lesser extent also with the Swiss against the Fins), they just can't get any speed for a breakaway or something. Their best players were over extended and there is nobody else to step up now.

True, it remains to see if they can raise their game and intensity. But Barrie alone wouldn't do the trick. Don't get me wrong, I like Barrie but if the rest of the players don't show up, they are asking for trouble in the knock out fase....Barrie or no Barrie.

Wish I knew the answer and guess Cooper feels the same way. Duchene has actually tried a lot but nothing goes his way. Scheifele, to me, at times has looked like he doesn't care too much about the game.
