There is no way this could have been a goal... it was moved long before the shot, even before the pass.
I was sitting here for like 3 seconds before the goal and was like wtf, why are the continuing playing, the net is so visibly out...

I might be wrong, but in the NHL would that not be a goal? The goalie knocked the net off and the net being off had no effect on the goal.

Idk about the exact wording of NHL rules, but IIHF has it like this (rule 98):

If a defending player displaces his own goal frame and the opposing
team scores a goal, the goal will be allowed provided:
1. The opponent was in the act of shooting prior to the goal frame
being displaced;
2. The referee determines the puck would have entered the goal net
had the goal frame been in its normal position.


The frame was displaced long before he was shooting so obvious no goal ... Now this rule should be improved, because yea logically this should have been a goal, but the call was correct.
 
Canada still doesn't look that good. O'Reilly and Duchene look good, as the announcers have mentioned numerous times.
