Time for 97 to take over. Give yourself permission kid!

I'm hearing doubts from the European audience about how good you are. Time to leave no doubt who the most talented player in the world is.

Play pissed off and focused with something to prove.

The way Slovaks have been performing so far this might be an embarrassment for them... Though there is off chance they pull their **** together and get some points, they tend to play better against stronger opponents.

They know how good he is, they just say stuff like that to try to piss guys like you off that's all.

I just want to see Canada come out motivated after that lacklustre performance against Germany.

Everyone who knows a bit about hockey must admit that he´s an outstanding Player but still it would be nice to see some goals from him....just not tonight :naughty:

You will have to fill me in on how it goes, this is the second game in a row I will miss because of work.

Not happy, just hope I can catch that Finland and knock out games.

I'm sure the goals will come, though I love the pretty assists just as much as the goals myself.

I'll live post if you get a chance to read during the game. The Finland game should be an all out battle.

16-0 Canada.

I know Slovakia is going through a bit of a tough time, but this isn't the 1930s.

but with Hungary winning a game...their 1st since 1939....you never know.

seriously though...5-2 Canada win. Canadians are still in party mode and will most likely remain in party mode until 1/4 final flameout. That's how Hockey Canada likes to roll.
