Go Slovenia, time to get that BLR antihockey finally relegated ... Last year it didn't work out, so hopefully now it will.

Belarus hasnt showed anything this year so the result is not surprising.

Unfurtunatelly 2:2 now ... BLR didn't show anything last year either, and also as far as i know they didn't produce any decent player in last 10 years.

Watching this game I have to say that they're far better than Slovenia. They also played well against France despite being down Denisov, Graborenko and A.Kostitsyn, three of their best players. Should have beaten the French. They also have great young players. Not sure Slovenia equals them.

I like Kogalev in particular. Somehow he hardly plays though. Surely deserves more icetime.

Just missed it...but did Jeglic just injure Khenkel? This guy shouldn't even be playing at this point. Completely crazy.

What great young players? I have no idea about Kogalev since i didn't even notice that guy... AS for this match BLR is not playing better and certainly didnt have more quality chances, they were only better the first few minutes of the 2nd period.

They have many:

Lisovets, Graborenko, Vorobei and Khenkel on defense
Kogalev and Sharangovich up front

I'm not arguing Slovenia has better players, they don't, even if they stay in the elite this year they are likely to get relegated in future years anyway... However I very much dislike how BLR is playing last two years and being relegated might trigger some changes in their game (its the opposite of slovenia, if they get relegated they would probably return soon - simply because hockey is very popular in BLR, much more than in other countries outside of top 6...)

Yea, Slovenia got destroyed in the 2nd and they deserved it - their D performed terribly, its like they forgot how to play during the break...
