Oh my god. Do you seriously think that it was the move Giroux wanted to do? Obviously not. Watch it once again. He could not process the puck and failed, happens, that was the best what he could do after it.

Even mentioning the goaltending is ridiculous.

If you cant pot more than 2 goals vs Switzerland as Canada you deserve to lose, period.

Congrats Swtizerland. Better for Team Canada to lose now than to lose later.

The NA arrogance is glaring. You have to respect your opponent in these tournaments as even the weakest of the lot can give you a hard time on any given day.

It is a round-robin after all, Canada will gear up when it comes to matter. BUT, still well-played by Switzerland. Both teams wanted to win and it was a round-robin for switzerland too.

What evidence/examples do you have of this glaring NA arrogance?

This is not the first time Canada's lost to a "lower" team and Canada has known for generations that even the weakest team can give you a hard time; they lost...no big deal, life goes on(especially given it wasn't even an elimination game)

Do you actually have any evidence/examples at all of this glaring NA arrogance?

well done switzerland! they deserved to win! switzerland without any nhl player win over canada! amazing! lol!!!

Lol.

Herzog's backhand is easily one of the best in Switzerland. I'd say he's in the top 3:

1. Stan Wawrinka
2. Roger Federer
3. Fabrice Herzog

Good job by Switzerland to continue fighting after a brutal start to the game. Canada has plenty of things to work on after that game. Should be a good learning experience for such a young team.

I find it strange watching Cooper during the game. Whenever the camera is on him, he is just standing there silently. That's unusual for a coach. It's an irrelevant observation... just odd to me.

Your statement is a typical example of NA arrogance, as you are implying that Canada can only lose games when they aren't trying their best to win.

Canada is a favorite in matchups against all other national teams, but even favorites lose from time to time, despite doing their best to win.
