I can only repeat myself. A near loss vs France and a loss vs Switzerland, two of the worst teams of the tournament...Canada has yet to prove they can play without Barrie.

Parayko was by far the best Canadian player and he just arrived from the States. That pretty much says everything.

Great win for Switzerland...on the downside we now have to deal with this Fischer moron fo maybe 10 more years...thanks Canada. Thanks very much.

Really prefer the big ice to the small ice.

I don't.

Every game Canada plays the opposing teams just clog up their box and let Canada have the outside. This can work in small sample sizes against players who aren't used to the bigger ice. Small ice allows shorter passes and such to break into high scoring chances. Much easier for weaker teams to defend on the big ice. Canada was by far the better team but Swiss held on long enough to get a chance and they capitalized. Also helped that the backup goalie to the worst team in the cap era of the NHL is our starter and can't stop a beach ball. None of those goals should have gone in. Completely out of position.

Yea, he wasnt being hyped enough during the game. It could have a blowout with another keeper in net and when you add to that the fact Pickard booted one into his own net, it shows why its the most valuable position.

I watched Belarus vs Slovenia earlier today and it was a much better game. Better game flow even the goals weren't quite as ugly as in this one...
