Lol is the only attacking play to dump the behind the net and make a bad pass towards the blueline from there..
 
Don't know why you guys say that we play awful hockey.They play against one of the greatest hockey nations of all time and they managed to keep it this close after first period.Impressive stuff.GO TEAM!!!:handclap:
 
Could Karri Kivi eventually be tried as the head coach for team Finland. I loved the way the U20 team played under his coaching. It would be refreshing to see the mens team play that way, even if there might be better options for the position.

Not only hockey nation; they have more believable teams than us in most ballgames.
 
I think Marjamäki overachieved in the World Cup... yeah, only 1 goal scored, but at least we were somewhat competitive against Sweden and not TOTALLY embarrasing.
 
Maybe we are not better, we belong in same group as Slovenia, Denmark,Belarus,Slovakia you name it.
 
This is ridiculous. Now the Finns struggle even with Slovenia. May be the only positive aspect is if Finland lose this game or win only in OT Marjamäki will be no more long time coach. He will be the first coach who miss the quarterfinal.
I don't believe any more that they reach it. Since Marjamäki is coach the of the Finns it doesn't work anymore. If I remember correctly they lost also all games at the Canada Cup.

Oh come on :laugh: How are you so pessimistic. I still think you are going to make QFs and you definitely don't belong in the same group with the teams you named.
