If Canada beats Sweden in regulation and the US, Canada, Sweden all get the same results against Denmark and Switzerland, how do they determine first, second, third in the group?

I believe this is the format. Essentially it would come down to plus minus in the games between those three teams. If teams are tied in plus minus, it comes down to total goals scored in games between those teams.

USA finished its games against Sweden and Canada +1 with 4 goals. Essentially, Canada needs to beat Sweden by 3 to win the group. Canada beating Sweden by 1 would see USA win the group, Sweden finish second and Canada third. Canada beating Sweden by 2 would see USA finish first, Canada second and Sweden third. Obviously if Sweden wins they are first since there is no tie.

Should three or more teams be tied on points, then a tie breaking formula will be applied as follows, creating a sub-group amongst the tied teams. This process will continue until only two or none of the teams remain tied. In the case of two tied teams remaining, the game between the two would then be the determining tie-breaker as the game could not end as a tie.

Well that SO game changes things

The Swiss need a regulation win against the USA tomorrow to stay alive.(and likely knock Denmark out since Denmark likely won't get a point against the USA or Sweden)

If Sweden beats Denmark in regulation they lock up 1st in the group before even playing Canada.
