Denmark has a very squad actually..not only are we missing all nhl players except ehlers..thats 5 of the best gone...we also dont have the two bjorkstrands or Mathias From..add to that that we are missing 3 of our best dmen.

Its actually quite sad, i grew up watching hockey and always saw Slovakia as "one of the big boys". So tell me slovakians, is it the federations fault, the coaches? What the hell went wrong in these last 7-8 years?

Well, I think most of Slovaks feel the same. I wouldn't really judge our hockey based on this team, I think there is a slight progress or at least stabilization in the recent years. However, as I said before, not only do we have less NHL players, our Euro players are really weak. The good ones are either injured or didn't want to come.

We are lucky that our goalie decided to play decent today. Not many chances either, but we manage to bury them

I've usually been sympathetic to Slovakia but if they send a team like this to the tournament, they deserve to be relegated. I doubt that next year's team would be any special either so it's the best to just skip straight to the home WC.

We are not in good shape at all. Most of our A-team has declined or is out with injuries. And we dont have anything to play for as we cant get relegated and lost the first game to Latvia. If we win against Slovakia tonight we might have a shot for a quarterfinal though

I understand. It wasnt my intention to bash your team. It was meant to Slovakia whose games have been simply unwatchable for two straight years (probably except the last against Latvia)I dont see big difference on ice between this team or last year team. There is always some issue either because Tatar is not comming or in head or whatever but those teams just look they are half sleeping or I dont know. Just ****ing start playing for 110 percent. Is that so hard?

If i had to place bets i would still bet on Slovakia staying this year. Its quite likely that Italy may get more points, but IMO its still more likely that they don't (and you will).
