No he isn't. Goals on big ice are cleaner. In the NHL bathtub, every game is decided by puck bounces. NHL teams pass like **** when the players have no reaction time and mostly only play dump and chase, which is fine for periods of time, but not the entire game. It's not entertaining watching a trench battle in front of the net for goals. Seriously, it's like a giant bear hug with 8 players laying like a meat wall in the crease, where one guy rolls a dice. Call me a moron if I rather see a screened snipe in the top corner from a beautiful passing play, where the team doesn't go into total scramble mode every 45 seconds for some seriously ugly hockey.Yes, you are the only one.

Defensemen have an easier time to keep the play alive on big ice, while in the bathtub, the puck is a live hand grenade.
Big ice is more entertaining, because big hits don't cover up for the mostly atrocious play you see in the NHL, where skill is less important than... intangibles. You can still make big hits on big ice, you only have to be good at it and be a good enough skater to pull it off.

Yeah, because interferences are so much harder to pull off to slow the game down. If you want to interfere with an opponent on big ice, you will look like a clown. In the NHL bathtub, interferences are a natural flow of the game, which kills the flow immensely. It would be harder to stop Gaudreau on the big ice, that's for sure.
From that angle it looks like a hit to the head tbh.
It was an open net for Rask! Goddammit!solid blocked shot ref![]()
I see a clean hit. Schmaltz admiring his shot.
