I'm use to seeing team USA get these calls in international play.
They're out to get you.

Like NHL refs would've done any better. They're all terrible, because the game is too fast for two refs to catch on.
I feel the NHL reffing should be digitalized. Cameras and five refs in a booth, a majority push a button to make a call within 2 seconds, the ref on the ice makes the call. They would have a much better view of everything, so why not?

Eichel actually hit somebody o.0
No they're not. They call ridiculously soft calls while allowing murder happening right in front of their eyes. NHL refs are just as horrible as the IIHF refs. This is just like any NHL playoff game.NHL refs are a lot better. It's like watching American football when the refs had a strike. Every game you could tell how amateur the replacements were.
All of the Avs look good in this tourny. Even Soderberg looks decent out here. How the hell did he go 80 games for 14 points with the Avs?!!?![]()
But a slash so hard that the stick breaks is missed by the refs. The german commentators just began to make fun of of the reffing this tounament like: "The last time we saw the teams to hack like this and constantly get away with it must habe been in the eighties"I for one think, they are right

And not in the chest either.
I may be the only one but i think its much more fun watching hockey on the big ice. More space, easier to follow the puck, harder to get away with holding and interference, more space to create offense etc.
If you watch it in real time, the hit wasn't even a second late though.
