While it's frustrating to see Sweden give up these goals it's a pleasure to watch them play in the offensive zone. Too many offensive minded defensemen? Hjalmarsson would be good to have I guess.

Yeah, Hjalmarsson is one of the most underrated defenseman in the league. Kane was going to play but he pulled out. I think the Blackhawks organization does not want any of their stars to play in the IIHF WC.

What would Hjalmarsson be if he had played in shl? 99% sure on he would be a offensive d-men then. There is nothing wrong about our d-men, but they are only 2 of 6 players out there, and they have the least impact on the game, forwards and goalies are more importent.

I'm use to seeing team USA get these calls in international play.

Like NHL refs would've done any better. They're all terrible, because the game is too fast for two refs to catch on.

I feel the NHL reffing should be digitalized. Cameras and five refs in a booth, a majority push a button to make a call within 2 seconds, the ref on the ice makes the call. They would have a much better view of everything, so why not?
