This is really really sad. Brings me back 15 years where we barely survived and were lucky not to relegate to division B. I hope WSH and NYR loses the next game and Eller and Jensen can come help us win against Slovakia and/or Italy because its looking extremely dire so far.

I know we cant be relegated this year because we host next year, but if we lose to Italy its just a joke beyond belief. There is still this thing called pride.

I have no idea. Its obvious US almost always underperforms in WC tho.

In last four years they have three top 4 finishes. Yes they really underperform. And any of those teams wasnt really top national team for US.

Also so tired hearing people crying that US players do not even try. In last four years those three top 4 results has been better what you should expect from those teams. I understand that people are upset because top players skip this tournament almost every year but these teams surely try their best.
