Nathan Mackinnon is a mutant. He's a monster on the boards and his speed up and down the wall is ridiculous. Most Avs fans like me will tell you he's better on the wing than down the middle. He's certainly not bad at Centre. He's good defensively, good on draws and good down low. But I just think his skill set is better suited on the boards. If you look at his production he has always succeeded most with high IQ centers such as Stastny, Grigorenko, ROR and RNH at the WC last year.

Monster along the boards and very good at face offs. Reminds me of another C from Nova Scotia ;)

MacKinnon has always seemed like more of a C Han a winger to me. The fact that he can seamlessly play all 3 positions up front is a good thing, not some weakness, IMO.

People commenting on the lack of enthusiasm; it's the French elections today.

I doubt their minds were solely on hockey and not checking twitter every 2 mins for Macron/ Le Pen updates..

9000 people is outstanding, considering the circumstances.

Nope. I was in Prague. Prague had more. Prague seats 17k was sold out for nearly all Canadian games. Only 9k at the game today
And as you know the tournament wasn't just in Prague. The arena in Ostrava had like 8,000 capacity or something. Here Paris has 15+, and Cologne more than Prague had.

I counted the numbers, and in the first 14 games in 2015 the attendance was 161,335. Now, after first 14 games in 2017, the attendance is 154,980. Considering the fact that Paris has a 15+ arena, and Cologne, who hosts the ENTIRE playoffs (unlike Prague), has bigger capacity than Prague had, it's very real that this tournament will set the new record in my opinion.

Actually, I wouldn't even say it's just "likely". Every factors absolutely clearly suggest that this tournament is going to set the record.

Been to 5 games here in Paris and 2 of the games arena was clearly below 50%.

Five games out of 8 in Paris were under 50% so far, so you're right.

What's your point though? I wrote that the tournament is likely to set the new record, and you bring another complain. I don't get your point. [MOD]
