The older Bukarts is such a puck hog, but sometimes it works out.

It should be 2:2 or 2:1 at the very least right now. Lucky af. Slovakia is still in the game.

I really like how we are playing defensively. Aren't giving up any real chances, blocking everything, Elvis just steers off some shots from the blueline.

To be fair, I missed the first period against Danes, and judging by the highlights, it wasn't that great. :D

To be fair, you're playing the weakest Slovak roster in 2 decades and are possessively still being outplayed for the most part and are technically in a 2:0 lead mainly out of luck. Honestly, I have expected Latvia to be the better team in all aspects, so I am surprised.

We're missing a bunch of leading players as well. Half of our top 6, a couple of leading Ds, etc. Nowhere near as many losses as you guys, but we still had to call up junior level players to replace them because of how little depth we have.

Getting outplayed? You guys had zero scoring chances. One fluky rebound and a goal that should've been counted, and that's it.

I'm talking about possession not goal scoring chances, those I am not expecting from our roster. I expected Latvia to control possession as well as we really came in with a pack of 3rd liners and grinders. You're going to win this game, I have no doubts, but all I'm trying to say is that I expected more from Latvia as odd as that sounds.

Okay, free advice for our "man on the bench" (I refuse to call him a coach, as he doesn't even have the license), given the current state of the game:

1. Hascak - Cingel - Kudrna
2. Dravecky - Hudacek - Miklik
3. Skalicky - Bliznak - Skokan
4. (reserve) Zigo - Suja

1. Sersen - Ceresnak
2. Janosik - Gernat
3. Mikus - Cajkovsky
4. Sedivy - Trska

For the next Match bring Stastny back instead of Suja (I am HC KE fan, but that is irrelevant for the WCH).

I'm sure it was. Granted, I am biased, but he really interferred with our guy's attempt to play the puck without any attempt to play it himself.

Looks like an accident but bummer if Sprukts got injured. He seems to be enjoying hockey again.

Yeah pretty sure what Kulda did falls under "interference" umbrella.

Dravecky so lucky it was just interference... could have been attack on the head.
