13.000 for game between Latvia and Denmark in Germany, nice.......does that include the Danish players though?
 
We won, eh? Miracle on ice. I'm not watching LAT games anymore, though. Not out of disrespect, but I can't stand the pressure anymore. Every time I think I'm done with IHWC and hockey, it just sucks me right back in.
 
1) Elvis is going to make the NHL one day
2) Bukarts Jr. is speedy as hell and adds a nice secondary scoring threat
3) Sprukts is as slow as an overloaded cargo train going uphill, but he's still got it
4) Blugers shouldn't be playing on the 4th line, he's got nice hands and he reads the play well
5) Balinskis is suprisingly competent at this level, considering he played junior hockey this season
6) Get Girgensons off the bloody PP, he shouldn't be there just because he plays in the NHL
7) Move him to the wing, he lost 90% (not even joking) of the face offs, and gets lost in the D zone too often

Yep you pretty much nailed it, except im not that surprised about Balinskis he had a great season in Dinamo and looked great in exhibition games aswell.

All of Latvia's goals were scored by KHL players. And Russia beat Sweden with a most of their players playing in the KHL. It's a great league in my opinion.

I don't get to see a lot of KHL games. Nice to see a late blooming defenceman in our ranks. He wasn't very spectacular at the junior level and his small frame made me think he wouldn't even make the pros. But now he's one of the very few Latvian defenceman who's not afraid to move the puck deep, and he also doesn't look like a monkey on a unicycle while doing it, unlike, say, Sotnieks.

Yes because it has nothing to do with the other 4 players on the ice. He has Nicolaj Ehlers on the line with him.

The rest plays in either SHL or DEL in 3rd or 4th lines.

Asking one guy to carry an entire team (or line) is pretty dumb?
