Willy is class he just needs to work on a few details and he can become crazy good

Yep. It makes me anxious to see how is Toronto gonna look in the near future. I mean, Marner, Matthews, Nylander, that's a crazy good trio to build your offense round. Each of them have the potential to become a real superstar. Well, if they are not that already.

Just watched the game, had it recorded.
A lot of dirty little plays so i guess there's a history i wasn't aware of. Germany hung in there pretty good but once Sweden kicked into high gear they couldn't keep up.
A better game than the score would indicate.

Sweden need forwards from the 2nd round badly. The goals in the third came easy, more lack of effort from Germany than good Swedish play.

nah they just need to play willy more.

use him as their go to star, since that's what he is.

In a sweden vs Germany game?

He's following the tournament, a tournament that has plenty of interesting players. What do you expect him to do, go shopping instead?

Even if there wasn't any player in the game who had been on his radar, the game is still a chance to see hockey and maybe find someone who he didn't really know about. That's what you usually do when you are scouting such a tournament.

The goal at the end of the second period really broke Germany's spirit. I don't think the game would have ended at 2-7 if that goal doesn't happen. Once it did, it was all over. And quite frankly, it was a horrible goal to take, there is no way it should have happened. There were about three or four times Germany could have got the puck out of the zone while they still had puck-control, instead they lined up three or four consectuive screw ups in short order. The third goal wasn't much better. Reul was way too close to the opponent and thus left enough room to head for the net, while the other two Germans didn't bother to take that spot to prevent the Swede from going there.

In the end, it was a deserved win for Sweden, though probably two goals too high. They dominated the first and third period, while Germany did well in the second, apart from the late errors.

We will fill our remaining slots, but not with the players we want, that's true. Berglund, Burakovsky & Pääjärvi might be the forwards. They will really make an improvement no doubt, but there are bigger fish our there.

Rangers can go out against Ottawa so maybe Zibanejad Lindberg Fast

He's not been written in yet theyre waiting out the second round

Is the link that strong that they've basically signed him? I knew we really liked him as a player, but I hadn't heard much beyond Rosen being scouted by the Leafs and Hawks and it probably being one of the two of us who signs him
