If I was the coach I'd try McAvoy on that early 3rd period PP, he's creating something every time he's on the ice and it's not like Hanifin is a guy know for being an offensive defensemen (at least not yet).

Greiss has been great but so many players are missing the net on scoring chances. That 2 on 1 chance with Copp missing the net is a good example. Been so many point shots missing the net with Greiss being screened. They'll break through eventually if they get more shots on net.

Yah, and it doesnt make sense to me, even with Greiss playing great US is not capitalizing on their many scoring chances. Matthews or Phil the Thrill is what US is missing.

Well, at least it doens't look like they didn't want to score so far!
It's just Greiss, a bit luck and a good fight of the German Team. Very important they carried the lead into the third.

That's what I'm seeing as well. So many missed shots as well as poor passes. Greiss is playing great, but USA could do themselves a favor and hit the net a bit more.

Game pretty even. More plays by USA but Germany can play too and they have suberb goaltending.

It took at least 5 seconds that he even tried to get up. I have seen players with concussion get up faster.
