Didn't think I would watch Slovakia again in this tournament but this is the only game today that probably will end up somewhat close. Well this one and Norway vs. Austria. Might as well continue watching Slovakia and see how their young guns are performing.

Let's see whether the Slovaks will be able to raise their heads up once again or whether they will just slip into deeper depression. One can never be sure about this. If you de facto lose any real chance to go through into the QF in front of your home crowd, it can be a total disaster for the team's mentality and work ethic.

I think Slovakia will come out on top. Even if they should be deflated after those tough losses against Canada and Germany, it's a young team and many of them have something to play for. Guys like Marincin and Dano are playing for new NHL contracts. Studenic and Fehervary will wanna compete for roster spots with the Devils and Capitals come september, and other young players like Liska, Lantosi and maybe Lunter could draw NHL interest with good showings here.

Hudacek was pushed into the goalie by the French player unlike Tatar's goal against GER when Panik was moving into the goalie himself.

Referees conclusion probably was that it was Janil who pushed Hudáček.

Lol are you all serious or just plain simple blind? French players are slashing like there was no tomorrow and even goal was clean...hudacek was pushed to the crease so this contact was legal

Also, what looked like hooking on a French player early on in the game, the replays showed that it was a hit from Slovak player that made him fall not hooking.

Still, that is no reason for the refs to call soft calls on the French. And they have missed one tripping call on Slovak player.
