What a difference Bäckström has made for this team. He can calm things down in the offensive zone like no one else.

Slovaks actually had a few huge chances, but their ability to bury it is pathetic.

Very well, if you mean that goalie guy.

The Slovaks has had some real dangerous situations.

He is doing well, but Slovaks are helping him quite a bit with their pathetic finish, its like they are unable to raise the puck at all, let alone try to clean the spider webs in the corners...

What the heck lol.

For anyone not watching Sweden took two too many men penalties in the first and then just got a team delay of game penalty for showing up to the second period late.

Sweden getting a penalty for arriving late for the 2nd period. According to one of Swedens managers they got directives that the ice was in a bad shape so they waited. Is this a joke?

We'll surely hear about this in the post game, it doesn't really matter much in this game since even if Sweden played with four skaters half of the game the Slovaks look so bad they would still lose... But hopefully we wont see such issues in the playoff

Of course it matters. Getting the Swedes frustrated is a free ticket into the game for the slovaks.
