Russia looks as a favorite on paper but it's a great test for our offense and defense.

Russia has had shutouts 3 games in a row

If we win we most likely play Finland next.

this looks like one of the weaker Russia teams I have seen at this event in some time.. this is a very winnable game for the US as their roster just looks better overall.

I know some of the KHL guys, they aren't chumps by any means, just not a ton of high end skill especially with Panarin out.

You right.
USA will be favorite.

Panarin out? He is in the 3rd line with Kuch and Namestnikov: https://www.championat.com/hockey/n...match-chm-2017-s-ssha-za-pobedu-v-gruppe.html (Russian)

Panarin in.

Yeah, but I don't pay attention to lineups on paper that much.

So how's Gaudreau looking on the RW? Haven't been able to watch much. But if that's a thing it would really help out Calgary.

From the tournament standpoint it doesn't matter, whether we win or lose, but of course it's always better to win.

Actually, if Russia wants to avoid Finland it does matter quite a bit. They should lose this match.

Looks like the swe-usa game. One team dominating without scoring and the other one is being extremely effective on their breakaways.
