Unbeaten red machine under the leadership of Oleg Znarok is paving his way to victory

:yo:

Everyone knows that the tactical brain behind Russian NT is a Latvian turncoat Harijs Vītoliņš. Znaroks is just an angry man, whose every 3rd uttered word is not a curse word.

They will be definitely a hard opponent for Germany and to be honest I'm somewhat worried. I hope, we will eventually make into the QFs though.

Germany can crap the bed. They've done it before. But we should be able to win that one. I'm not confident, though; it can go either way.

Harijs VītoliņÅ¡ was fired from Dinamo(Moskow) as head coach, without Znarok.

Just wanna say - this was a fantastic hockey game to see live. Both groups of fans, but due to the sheer numbers primarily the Russians, made it an amazing atmosphere, despite the non-dramatic game. Absolutely fantastic. Had a damn good time.

PS: the Russian team really came out with intensity, and you could see it throughout. Just about everybody skated hard all the time. That stood out for me for this type of game. I don't think I need to praise guys like Kucherov or Panarin any further.
