Runs over Lundqvist, no penalty. Screw you refs, that was concussion material.

Ekman-Larsson should've taken the 5 and match penalty on the Dane there since the refs aren't doing their job.

And Hank is immediately speaking to the refs.

I fully agree, not necessarily Ekman-Larsson though ;-) but somebody have to stand up for Hank in a situation like that.

We should be able to defeat the Danes playing PK the entire game anyway. :sarcasm:

Oh come on that is just ridiculous

Danes droppong easy like flys. Oenalty almostevery tine. But when they runs over the goalie not even a 2 min. ?

For two guys that i don't think have ever played on the same line Backstrom and Nylander seem like a natural fit.

Well, a guy like Backstrom can play with almost anybody. Nylander do have some sniper skills though which is perfect next to Backstrom.

"What would it take to get Backstrom to the Leafs" - trade threads incoming

Caps fan says Marner+
Someone else takes it further and says Matthews
Leafs fans offer something like Bozak a 2nd and a first or jvr + a first all hell breaks loose and everyone is mad at everyone.

There I hope I just saved hfboards the painfull ordeal that would be a "Bäckström to Toronto" thread

Lindberg does all the dirty work along the boards for Nick and Will and then just sits back in awe about not having to center for Tanner Glass for a while.

Good to see him keeping his quality play up. NYR should try their best to not lose him in expansion.

It's okay, the Leafs have that guy named Matthews.

Truly agree, the Leafs are set on the forward side for many years but having some question marks regarding defense and goalie.

I like Frederik but not sure he is the guy. For me Toronto is like a graveyard for hockey goalies, increadibly difficult to find a guy being able to deal with the increadible preassure in Toronto, that's for sure.

Nobody doubts Frederik Andersen.

He's the best goaltender we've had in a decade.

Defence is the only question. Goaltending is very good.

We were all very happy with Freddy this season.
