I'm beginning to have serious doubts about this U.S. team. I think I just may have to shelve my Canada v USA dream final for another year. It looks as though it will be a 1/4 final match up.

US was the better team the last 9 minutes or so of the second period. Team finally woke up and started putting shots on the net and stopped making the comically bad mental mistakes

As a Sabres fan I'm quite disgusted by Eichel's play. Blashill parked him on the bench, deservedly so.

you can't dislike older Bukarts. he's everywhere. i wish he could have better puck luck though. for me, he is again the best player from team Latvia.
5 or 6 shots already, assist, hit the post, lot of dangerous plays. threat to watch.

Eichel's play the last 2 games has been baffling. He's had several chances to take it to the net and he's just been floating and being passive for no apparent reason. He played well against Sweden but since then has looked out of it. Need him to wake up

Miracle is the wrong word. They'll need to finish out Latvia and Slovakia. Get a reasonable win over anybody other then Canada in the quarters and then a very reasonable semi win.

Are you sure Canada is gonna make it after that embarrassing game vs France? They looked awful without Barrie. Parayko better be ready for this.

US not looking good but they will get help from Skjei and Hayes. They should be able to help.
