I'm guessing czech will let some of their other lines play more today and give their 1st line a breather against kazakhstan

if we go hard on them from the start it should be an easy game, there maybe a bit of a danger if we continue to play blithely like we did in the second half of yesterdays game against norway, but i think our team is mature enough to be able to switch gears. Their Canadian 1st line can do some damage, but that's all they have.

Kazakhstan has the best pp units on the tournament ! Time to compete for us.

Apparently Russian rink workers want to help Kazakhs so desperately with that goal. Got people confused for a moment there.

yeah of course man, everyone is giving up the game against Czechs

Maybe it really is what teams told each other behind the scenes... After all the recent however-many years of little to no hope in our play, just make us happy for once. Just like the Slovaks and their silver in 2012.

Weird, 2 consecutive semi-finals are 'little to no hope'? Okay.

Weird, have I said play or results? (also, not exclusively focused on the IIHF WHC)

Note to self: hyperboles dont work on the internet.

I understand that it was hyperbole but still weird thing to say. It's success for us if we reach the semi-finals.

We played pretty good in 2015, especially in games against Canada.

I will just subscribe to the idea that my opinions are weird and leave it at that.

1:0, two to go.

What a joke of a 2nd period, we were asleep for so long that kazakhstan woke up late in the 2nd. So boring (with exception of the last 5 minutes which were just terrifying...)
