Well damn we kinda needed that extra point. Grats to the Danes though, Dahm had a hell of a game.

Not 100% sure on the tiebreakers but this was a bad result for Slovakia. Denmark and Slovakia are now on 4 points, if Italy beats Denmark in regulation they'll also be on 4 points. If the 3 way tiebreaker is h2h points it would put Italy 6th, Slovakia 7th, Denmark 8th, but since Denmark can't be relegated(next years host) then Slovakia goes down.

Of course with 2 or 3 games let for everyone there's still a lot that can change with upsets and stuff.

So Italy might not need 4 more points now to avoid relegation if this very specific scenario happens.

He will play in Iserlohn in DEL next season.

A couple of years ago he had several good games in WCH and was offered some sort of contract with Buffalo Sabres. He declined and said it was either NHL or staying in Europe.

He was in AHL for a season and then EHCL before playing in the danish league again and then going to the Austrian league
