Edler had a strong first game but other than that, both have been pretty unexciting.

Klingberg was excellent in the pre-tourney games but has disappeared a bit now . None of them have been game changing but at least better than any of our non nhl defensemen.

Strange game. Sweden just seemed sloppy and uninspired. The play never really got going thanks to the refs. Yes, I tend to indulge from time to time in the what the hell refs, but this time it really was what the hell refs?

No idea what was going on out there.

Quite obvious that the players become hesitant when they are sent to the penalty box for nothing.

I think the german ref was trying to get Germany to the quarters.

Latvia beating Sweden would be germanys best chance to get there since Latvia already had 9 point, USA and Russia was above them and Sweden and Germany had 4 and 5 points before the game.

The reffing in this game was one of the worst I've ever seen! Shamefull and obviously biased in favor of the Latvians. None less a bit too slow and sloppy Swedish play, but a win is a win.

Daugavins was very underwhelming today. So many missed chances. If he's injured, he shouldn't be playing. If he's not injured, the coach should drop him a line or two. Otherwise it looks like he's a tad too comfortable with himself and the role he has on the team.

Let's try something different against the US. Blugers to 1st line? Why not. At least he can lift the ****ing puck in a 1on1 situation without fanning on it. Kaspars Chokeavins. For ****s sake. Vibes of Bruins-Blackhawks 3OT today fir him

Nordström had a good game today other than that there is really not much good worth mentioning.

Söderberg is being carried by Omark.

He hasnt been impressive the whole tourney except for a few passes here and there. Hes supposed to be be leading this team in goals and hes just not getting it done.
