I understand the Roy and Brodeur arguments, but as great as they could be they had some great teams around them. Hasek could put a sub par team on his back and allow them a chance against the best in the world. That gold medal showed just how absolutely dominating he was, and remember all the all-star games where he would shut down the best of the best when 4 or 5 goals a period was expected, he'd let in 1 and be mad about it.

Dom is a big reason I'm a hockey fan. Grew up watching him, and he helped me fall in love with the game. Such an incredible player.
