He's skilled but not enough to carry him, if he can become a better two way player he should be a bottom six guy.

Never really demanded an opportunity for more with his play when he was in the lineup, but he also is one guy St. Louis seemingly never was interested in giving a crack at a top 9 role to so he might pan out somewhere a coach will actually play him a bit.

I think Heineman has more edge to him and is otherwise a pretty similar player so I'd rather he just get the shot

I always rooted for Jesse, but just hasn't put it together.

He'll end up in Europe soon rather than later.

Regressed from his already not NHL caliber self the previous year. Not skilled enough for top six but lacking physical abilities for bottom six. On top of already being 24.

He could find a home somewhere if he works hard.
Came here basically to post this. He was given some opportunities on the top line and wasn't up to par. Doesn't really have the style or strengths for checking lines. He's probably going to be one of the top player on a team in the AHL or Europe, or maybe some coach will be able to make something out of him in the NHL.

He's really good in the shootout, often gets picked in the 3 on a team with Caufield and Suzuki.
