GoPro Hero 8 help

[x Tame Impala]

Bought a GoPro Hero 8 a few days ago. I have a Macbook air with the most up to date software. The GoPro app downloads but I can't open it. Also, when the GoPro is directly plugged into my Mac nothing happens.

Anyone else experiencing this or have an solutions?

Nvm. There’s no working GoPro app on the App Store. Gotta download directly off of googles webpage
