Hi there,

I was wondering if there are any good Kings friendly places in Orange County (I live in Orange) that are good spots for watching playoff games.

I just moved down here from the San Fernando Valley. Last few years I have enjoyed watching the Kings road games at Soup's in Woodland Hills and was looking for a similar atmosphere.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know if this counts, but I found two confirmed tweets for a Watch Party at Hooters, Downtown L.A., from both the Ice Crew and Bailey.

I watch a lot of games at Danny K's in Orange. It's my favorite sports bar. Even though it's literally across the street from Honda Center I still always find Kings fans to talk with.

Also, Tilted Kilt in Orange is pretty fun, usually find some Kings jerseys there also.

I'd love to set up some OC watch parties if we go deep in this playoff tournament.

I would have to agree with Danny K's. My friends and I go there for Kings games all the time. Typically a pretty good time.

There are actually a few great places in St Johns to watch Kings games. Of course a couple of my best friends owns both of the bars and I can be a true pain in red rider if the kings are playing and they don't have them on.

In L.A. I always found it fun to watch the games where the Kings used to hang out in Manhattan Beach at Pancho's on Rosecrans. Of course the place could be gone for all I know as it has been awhile but they had good food and crazy great drink specials during games. Always used to have the game on but then it has been almost a decade since I was there.

Do they do showings around the Staples Center (or what I call one of the worst arena's to watch hockey in the world)? That would be fun to do with the whole crowd once.

Oh and really, the Staples is second only to the pond as terrible big arenas to watch hockey in. Love the Kings but the old arenas where so much better for watching a hockey game and of the new ones the SC and the AP are just not very good. Lots of bad angled seats and obstructions.

I watch a lot of Kings games at Down n Out, in downtown LA. Bartenders are Kings Fans for the most part. Lots of TV's and always has sports on them.

Quick warning, There's a few regulars there that like the sharks, but they're respectful Duck Hating hockey fans like the rest of us, so it's not too bad.

I've been watching playoff hockey there for the last 3 years. (When we're lucky they throw it on the projector and put the sound on for the game) I love going there for hockey games, so sorry if this sounded as if i owned the place (which i don't..but a guy can dream)

I think it's called Manhattan Beach Cafe? A cafe in Manhattan Beach either way :D been a long time since I've been down there in that area but they love their hockey.

I think you are referring to the Redondo Beach Cafe. The owner I think is a Canadiens fan, but they are huge supporters of the Kings as well.

Some other cool places in the South Bay are Gasser Lounge, which has a mural of Johnny Cash saying "Go Kings Go" on the side.

Underground in Hermosa also has a lot of TV's and a small group of fans that go there to watch.

Yes, thank you! Knew that didn't sound right

Najas is also a good place for Kings games.

tilted kilt has the worst food

The best place to watch the game?

Mike Richards gets the best view of the game...he gets to be on the ice and watch
it up close. He almost becomes part of it, but you cannot tell what side he's on.
It's as close to as being part of the game as possible.
