Hey me and my buddy are coming to LI from CT...we usually just head up for the game and then go home after, but we are going to come up a few hours early and maybe hit up a bar for a pitcher and some wings before the game...any suggestions?

I like going to Millers Ale house in Levittown its like 5 minute drive west on Hempstead tpke on the south side across from tri county.. Pretty good food, drink specials and its pretty big with loads of tvs.

If you dont want to drive after drinking, you can go to the Marriott and eat/drink at Champions bar.

Hurricane Wings in Levittown (down Hempstead Tpke a bit, like 10 minutes) has great (if a bit pricy) wings and they've got a decent beer selection. Keep in mind, its more of a franchise sit-in restaurant rather than a bar, but they've got a great flavor variety of wings.

best way to get there from the coliseum? i really dont know the area very well?

I would suggest a church if you expect a win :)
It is Sunday maybe we should all show up with Islander gear on, see if ESPN picks up the story.

It's on the same road as the coliseum, head west on Hempstead tpke youll cross over two parkways and its on the south/right side. It's across the street from tricounty flea market.. Hope this link works I'm doing it from my cell:

Edit it didn't... Just google it and have fun hopefully you get a win.

Miller's Ale House is east of the Coliseum, not west.
