Pool: Goldenhands 1st WJC pool edition

Welcome to my 1st WJC pool edition, the demand was there and I wanted to offer an opportunity for some to live that experience in what is for me the best hockey tournament of the year.

We are now at 9/10 participants, so only 1 spot available, serious candidate only, 1st to reply will get in.

Rules and scoring system: 10 participants, 6 fowards, 3 defensemen, 1 goaltender + 1 reservist. Every participant will have to pick a reservist player, which one can be inserted at the end of the tournament to replace one of your regulars that is either underperforming, injured or else, that player can be a foward or a defenseman, but if you decide to pick lets say a foward as a spare, you can only remove one of your 6 fowards, if its a defenseman, you can only remove one of your 3.

Fowards: 1 goal = 1 pt 1 assist = 1 pt
Defensemen: 1 goal = 2 pts 1 assist = 1 pt
Goaltenders: 1 win =- 2 pts 1 shutout = 1 pt OT or shootout Loss = 1 pt (Goaltenders assist or goal count for 1 pt)

- Order will be determined by random.org
- After you make your pick, please PM ("start a conversation" with) the GM making the next pick as simply tagging the person is not enough.
- There's no pick clock at the moment, but one might be added if we start running out of time
- Please feel free to PM me a list of a couple of players if you know you will not be around to make your pick
- There will be a 6 or 4 hours timer if we start running out of time. (With dead time from 1 to 8 AM that person's local time)
-If a person is routinely taking too long to pick, I will find an alternate to take the spot.
-Tiebreaker will be total goals.
-If a team selects a player that is already injured/confirmed not headed to WJC, we will allow repicks as soon as possible and others are allowed to keep picking.

Draft will start as soon as the last spot is filled and the draft order is determined.

You have two separate things.
You have 1 point for an overtime/shootout loss, and also 1 point for shootout. That should be shutout right?
Also it's minor, but the OP currently says a win is negative 2

Yeah I meant shutout sorry. 2 pts for a win + an additional point for a shutout. Goaltenders will also get 1 pt in case of a loss in overtime or in shootouts. Is it clearer like this?

Should not that once a person has been mentioned in a thread, the notifications doesn't always work a second time so it's best to PM the person.

I PMed him at 11 A.M.

I will give him another day, but I might have to announce a 6 hours clock starting on Friday at noon.
 
Guys, since its only 10 days away from the puck drop and that we have to average about 10 picks per day , I will have to run a 4 hours clock starting tommorow (Thursday) at noon. If any of you dont feel comfortable with a such pace, plz let me know so we can free your spot for someone else.

Is there going to be an overnight pause on the clock? If so what time?

I'm guessing you're talking eastern time. I'm in Newfoundland, I'm 100% not going to be making picks anywhere close to 1 am eastern
 
I guess a list of player could be sent to someone not close to your range to pick for you if you know it will be hard to make your pick.

I can help anyone if needed
