Nice to see Savinainen, Kuusela and Ojamäki get the gold.
I like that too.Kalsarikännit with warm Champagne!
Next time Canada would be wise to bring a goalie to the tournament.
I thought the guy was exaggerating in the first couple of pages saying that if Canada wins it won’t be a big deal, while in Finland they’d party in the streets all night. They’re really doing I think! Fun night in Finland.can't be too upset with the result. sucks to lose but I love seeing how much this means to Finland.
18 first timers in this level. Liiga players and few khl. 0nhl goals in team this year, two nhlers.Beating the Swedes, the Russians, and now Canada? What a miraculous run for such an unheralded team. Well done Finland, you've done Finns and underdogs throughout the world proud.
You can invite me over the next weekend.Im definately heating up the sauna but damn wish it would be saturday. Cant get too blasted need to wake up to work in 6 hours.
Love how this team outworked pretty much everyone.
Congrats Suomi!![]()
Winnipeg Jets are firing their coach around January. How does Jalonen like to coach Laine and ice fishing?Jalonen going to NHL to teach how to coach?
Yes because Finland went from their A squad to B squad, while Canada went from their A squad to C squad. Most of these players wouldn't make Canada's 2nd Olympic team, and only maybe one or two of them would have been on Canada's olympic team (Stone and Murray likely as a backup/3rd string).Wait what?
Canadas drop off is from say 500 points in NHL this season to 300, Finland is from 350 to 0..
I like that too.
Man i like you, you all have the same mentality than me :;D

Also, Finland got absolutely robbed in that Women's final. That should have been another gold medal.Congrats Finland.

Anyways I was more just responding to that poster and not taking anything away from the Finns so I'd rather not comment on it anymore. Finns played a great game and deserved the gold after knocking off Russia and Canada. Congrats to them on a well deserved gold medal.
That's subjective experience. Not objective fact.Depends on what country you live in. Looks pretty close to a tie to me. This one is every bit as special as Lake Placid was for the Yanks.
