Yep, I absolutely support Sweden too - but they don't seem to be at their best against Canada... Hopefully this time they will beat them. I think the key is to be aggressive too and not let them dominate the physical play and to keep on the offensive. (Sweden often seems to be overly cautious against Canada.)

We tried that in the world juniors, didn't work as planned. Canadiens ended up diving all over the place instead which sucks cus they were way better and would have beaten us anyway

Pretty pumped up for this one. I want Canada to win of course but seeing Nylander lead Sweden to victory wouldn't be the end of the world. Tbh Canada feels a bit more like cheering for a Flyers/Colorado allstar mashup than a real team Canada

Sweden has a good team with a far superior defense and goaltending then us on paper and you know it.

Except they don't have a better team on paper, the last 2 years sure...........but not this year. The pedigree on D and between the pipes is so far in swedens favour for this game it isn't even funny.

I hope I'm wrong but I don't have a good feeling about this one...the Swede's D is missing 1-2 of their top D. The obvious one in EK, Lindholm as well. I am also really liking Ekholm watching him play for Nash. So maybe 3 top D missing for Sweden.
The only high end D Canada has there is Vlasic.
I like the Swede's tending over ours as well, though appears Henrik is favouring something.

Looked in rough shape at the end of the Finland game, was wincing and swearing after tweaking something it looked like.....was first on the ice today though.

Problem is Canada has far superior forward depth. We only have one line that's been working the last 5 games or so, don't think we have much of a chance unless other players step up.
Tre Kronor has to play their best hockey today, or else this tournament will end with a silver medal. They need to play way better than they have done so far, which I am not sure that they are able to do.
