The Russian definitely should have been called for that trip on Hayton early in the game instead of giving the Canadian a penalty for holding the stick. Brutal missed call.

Nope, that penalty was infact correct call. The canadian tucked the stick under the arm and then tried to sell it. Too bad the russian was smart enough to drop the stick in time.

Actually, Russia was quite a bit better 5-on-5. Discipline problems and a stupid non-call on a clear-cut rule killed it.
