You’d be crazy to think Canada will be getting blown out again. I expect a physical game with Canada seeking redemption.
Without looking at actual records, I have the impression this seldom happens twice in tournaments. Canada's done their homework by now, and often get more serious as the tournament progresses. Still, despite a convincing, almost clinical performance tonight, I still somewhat hesitate to say Canada wins it.

Russia is also very mobile and highly skilled. They lost their cool and gave up PP chances to Sweden. They'd better keep it cool tomorrow. Canada was just lethal on their chances. If they keep it cool, they'll be strong.

My heart says Russia, but my gut is quite afraid of Canada. Gonna be a good one tomorrow.

Canada has the best player in the tournament, who's also played like the best player in the tournament, Hofer has settled nicely into the starting role, and they'll be looking for redemption after that dreadful performance against Russia in the preliminary round.

Still, I wouldn't count the Russians out. Looking forward to a great game.

Normally i say it s time for Russia. But Canada want to make amends for the bitter defeat in RR. I bet the Russians win in OT again.

I’m liking Canada here; only insofar that beating the same team twice in this tourney is an uphill battle.
