I'm more surprised that the Angels have never had a 100-loss season. They've been a pretty big joke for a long while now, even recognizing that the Sox are a bigger punchline this season.

rockies hadn't had one either until last seasonThat is kind of surprising, as they have been around a pretty long time, I wonder how many other teams can say that
Edit: After some quick research, it would appear that the Angels are the only current franchise that hasn't had a 100 loss season ever

I was looking at how long it's been since teams lost 100. The Phillies history is inept but they haven't since 1961. The Mets 1965, the Braves in 88. The Cardinals, Dodgers, and Yankees before World War 1. It doesn't happen as often as I thought.
The White Sox beat a hung over Tigers team, so against all odds, they do get to 40 wins.
The dream is dead.
41-121 is better than 40-120.
There is always next year. The dream is dead.

The worst thing is because of stupid nonsense the Sox aren't even rewarded with good pick out this year
